Dolywern in the Ceiriog Valley

Dolywern is situated between Pontfadog and Glyn Ceiriog on the B4500. Dolywern was a stopping place for the Glyn Valley Tramway and in its day the Tramway crossed the river via a small bridge which can still be seen today.

The Cheshire Home which is in Dolywern occupies the former Queen's Hotel although now extensively altered from its days as a hotel.
